Zhuravel Volodymyr Mykolayovych – a Ukrainian artist and sculptor, was born into a family of artists in Kremenchuk, Ukraine. He currently lives and works in Kyiv.
His father, Zhuravel Mykola Volodymyrovych (born in 1960), is a renowned Ukrainian artist, a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (NSHU), and an academician of the Roman Academy of Modern Art. His mother, Zhuravel Olena Volodymyrivna (born in 1963), is a graphic artist and a professional artist-teacher.
2000-2004: Studied at the Taras Shevchenko State Secondary Art School in Kyiv, Ukraine.
2004-2010: Studied at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture (NAFAA) in Kyiv, Ukraine, earning a degree in Fine and Decorative Applied Arts with qualifications as an artist-sculptor, researcher, and educator.
Since 2012, he has been a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (NSHU).
На честь Всесвітнього Дня вишиванки на Поштовій площі скульптор Володимир Журавель зі своєю дружиною одягнули у вишиванки малюків-засновників Києва. Легендарних Кия, Щека, Хорива та їхню сестру княжну Либідь.
У Києві відкрили скульптуру легендарному богатирю часів Русі-України Іллі Муромцю, уродженцю Чернігівщини. 11-метровий монумент встановили на Трухановому острові.

2011: Joint exhibition with father, Zhuravel & Zhuravel, at the Ukrainian Institute of America, New York, USA.
2011: Created the iconic sculpture "Klitschko Brothers", which was presented as a gift by the artist at the official press conference of Vitalii and Volodymyr Klitschko to celebrate their achievement of winning all major world boxing championship titles under the most prestigious organizations.
2011: Participated in Mykola Zhuravel's project "Apiary" at the Art Biennale in Venice, Italy.
